Well we are now at Day 3. The theme for the day is A Day of Knights. The word of the day is Thames. We started the day with bus ride to St. Pauls Cathedral. Here we got to see the Steps where the Bird Woman begged us to "Feed the Birds, Tuppance a bag!"

After seeing the cathedral and walking around the church we saw a cute little English Garden, where they had some beautiful roses. I just had to take a picture of A Beautiful English Rose. I wanted to add a little colour to my photos!

Our next journey took us for a walk across the Millenium Bridge and the River Thames. We hadn't seen rain yet, but we haven't seen the sun yet either!

Our next stop on our morning hike was the Globe theatre. This theatre has had quite a history. It's was burnt down more than once. It was finally rebuilt by an American as authentically as possible.

Our final stop on the guided portion of the tour was the Tower of London. The tower is an amazing place. We saw the crown jewels, quite the bling!! They had a 530 carat diamond, the second largest in the world. We also saw the armoury and some items of torture. Quite cool! I would love to go back when I have more time.

Well that ends our guided portion of the day. We now have the rest of the afternoon to ourselves. We came back to the hotel for a little rest and are heading over to the British Museum. We have to have our bags packed and ready for pickup for tomorrow morning at 7:30 am. We have a morning walk planned, then it is off to Paris! More later
