Hi everyone reading this. Well in just over a month, my daughter Kirstyn and I leave for our dream Europe Disney vacation, hence the name of this blog. First let me apologize for the url of this blog. Sorry it is so long, but wanted to make sure the name describes the purpose!!
Well, our trip has been over a year in the making. Although I watch the calendar every day, things finally seemed complete as our first documents started to arrive. Our trip starts with a London/Paris Adventure by Disney. Here is a photo of the backpack and documents we got sent to us via UPS.
After the London/Paris Adventure we are heading over to Barcelona for a Mediterranean cruise aboard the Disney Magic. I have met a fantastic group of people on the DIS Boards. One fellow passenger designed a Tshirt for his family and decided to share. Here is a photo of the shirts. I got serene green (the top one showing the back of the tshirt) and Kirstyn got pistachio (the one underneath mine showing the front of the tshirt). Having these tshirts will help us recognize everyone.
I'm arriving in Barcelona the day before we set sail, as are a bunch of DISers (thats what we call each other on the DIS Boards). A group of us has decided to meet for dinner at the Meson David. The menu looks good. Kirstyn is 16 and the drinking age in Spain is 16, so maybe she will have her first legal drink, I mean you can't go to Spain and not have sangria !!!

After the cruise, we are heading back to Paris to spend three days at Disneyland Paris. We get home on a Saturday and I go back to work on Monday. I'll be gone 3 weeks and 2 days. This will be my longest vacation ever. I've done all the shopping for the trip, except laundry soap and coffee. I'm thinking of picking up some Tim Horton's coffee (a Canadian staple) for any staff on board the Magic that may be missing home!
This is pretty good for my first blog post. I'll be sure to post more. I'll be bringing a laptop with me, so the reports will be live!
