Budd's Day at the Spa!

Well first let me shout .... 9 DAYS TO GO!! Wow single digits. Now the race is on. So much to do! But enough about me and Kirstyn. This post is dedicated to the other member of the family. I'm talking about Budde ... my 9 year old Bichon Frise! Budde is short for Budd E Bear! He is a real character. This is his vacation too! He will be spending three glorius weeks at the home of the breeder who I got him from. There he will be visiting his dad Dusty, his mom Jasmine, his sister Gypsy, his niece Jackie and his good friend Cody!

Before he could go, though, he gets to spend the day at the puppy spa! He arrived in eager anticipation, so eager that he left a little present at the front door. Thank goodness the groomer keeps baggies handy!! With some trepidation, Budde got up on the table and readied himself for the inevitable. The dreaded bath. Will he survive? Will the groomer be gentle? Oh the worries of a dog!

Here is where we discovered how skinny Budde really is. It's kind of scary. It's like Budd loses 5 pounds with his haircut! It's no wonder they call Bichons little puff balls. Budde survived the bath, the haircut, the manicure/pedicure (what exactly do you call it with dogs???) and the exam with the vet! By the way, the groomer is at the Vet's office, so I managed to get everything done in a day. Budde got a clean bill of health.

So I picked up Budde at the end of the day. He was a new dog, as you can see. He kind of has a poodle tail, due to a little dry skin problem, but it looks cute. We call him poodle tail now, but not to his face. He is a little sensitive! I think he knows something is up, what with all of the stuff in the spare room, but he will have fun. He always does with his friends.

So that is is for Budd's preparation for his vacation. Talk to you later!
